TERMS OF SERVICE

By contacting me for my services, you, the client, agree to the following terms: 


 ⚝ GENERAL ⚝ 
⚝   I, the artist, reserve the right to decline a commission for any reason.
⚝   Communication will be carried out through Discord, Bluesky or Instagram, depending on the client's preferences.
⚝   Commissions regarding NSFW content will not be accepted.
⚝   The creation process consists of two stages: ROUGH SKETCH AND COLORS, and SHADING AND RENDERING. A preview of the first step will be provided before the second, and previews may also be requested throughout the process. The artist will not continue until the client approves these updates.
⚝   The client may request revisions of the commission relating to the current stage, but never to a prior one.
⚝   The artist reserves the right to charge additional fees based on design complexity. This will be discussed before the commission begins.


 ⚝ PAYMENTS ⚝ 
⚝   Payments are accepted via PayPal only.
⚝   Prices are stated in EUR. Currency conversion taxes will be covered by the client and will be discussed right before every payment.
⚝   Sales tax fees will also be covered by the client.
⚝   The artist requires 50% upfront to begin the commission.
⚝   The remaining 50% must be paid in full right before receiving the final artwork.


 ⚝ DEADLINES ⚝ 
⚝   After receiving the initial 50% payment, the artist has 2 weeks to finalize the rough sketch.
⚝   After receiving the client's written approval at the end of the ROUGH SKETCH AND COLORS stage, the artist has 4 weeks to finalize the artwork.
⚝   If the client requests a tighter deadline, additional fees will apply.
⚝   Failing to reach the aforementioned deadlines will result in a 50% discount of the next payment.


 ⚝ CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS ⚝ 
⚝   The first payment is refundable only before approving the rough sketch. The second payment is non-refundable.
⚝   Any additional fees that may take place (added complexity, lack of references, etc.) are non-refundable.
⚝   Cancelling a commission means the client will not receive the work or any derivatives.


 ⚝ REFERENCES ⚝ 
⚝   The client must provide clear references. If drawings are not an option, a combination of Picrews, stock images, stick figures, etc., may be sufficient.
⚝   Failing to provide clear references will incur additional fees or the refusal of the commission altogether.


 ⚝ INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS ⚝ 
⚝   The artist retains the right to publicly display commission renders and incorporate them in their portfolio. The client has the option to keep themselves anonymous or to keep the work private until a certain point.
⚝   The final product may not be used for AI training, AI generation, dataset inclusion, NFTs, or any related projects.
⚝   The final product may not be resold without explicit discussion and written consent from the artist.
⚝   The client may share and/or repost the final product, granted they credit the artist via their social media handle (@ae_lit_o). The client may not remove the corresponding watermarks or signatures in the final product.
